DAT is a package common in all games developed by Platinum Games (excluding Infinite Space), containing models, textures, and sometimes animations. The encryption method seems to differ throughout each game.

Conversion Tools

Noesis

Noesis can extract/convert models and textures from Bayonetta and Vanquish, as both of these games use similar encryption methods. Support for other Platinum games are either very buggy, or completely incompatible.

MGRRTools

MGRRTools contains a set of tools used to convert models and textures from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
