Unity is a multiplatform game engine that was released on June 8, 2005 and has been used in many games ever since. It is a commonly used engine, especially with games that are developed for mobile devices.

Tools

There are some tools circling around for ripping assets from Unity games.

AssetRipper

AssetRipper is a tool for exploring and extracting content from Unity Asset files. Unlike other programs, AssetRipper has official Mac and Linux releases. More information about the program can be found here and the GitHub repository can be found here.

AssetStudio

AssetStudio is a tool for exploring and extracting content from Unity Asset files. You can rip models, sounds, textures and more with it. Its GitHub repository can be found here.

AssetStudioMod

AssetStudioMod is a modified version of AssetStudio that's mainly focused on UI optimization and functionality enhancements. Its GitHub repository can be found here.

Unity Assets Bundle Extractor
