Mega Man Legacy Collection is a compilation of the first six Mega Man games that was developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Capcom. It was released worldwide on August 24, 2015 for Windows, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A port for the Nintendo Switch, alongside Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, was released on May 22, 2018.

The "data.pie" file is actually a .zip file with a different extension, so tools such as 7-Zip should work fine. The file in question in the Windows/Steam port requires a password in order for a tool to extract its contents.
