DAT (Hal Laboratory)
DAT is a container format created by HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo GameCube for games using the sysdolphin engine. It contains models and textures and skeleton data. It was first used in Super Smash Bros. Melee and was subsequently used in many Nintendo-published GameCube games as well as third party games.
