Kirby Air Ride (known as Kirby's Airride in Japan) is a racing game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo. It was released for the GameCube in Japan on July 11, 2003, October 13, 2003 in North America, February 26, 2004 in Europe, March 4, 2004 in South Korea, and March 30, 2004 in Australasia. It is a spin-off of the Kirby series and was the only game in the series to be released for the system (a mainline Kirby game tentatively titled Kirby for Nintendo GameCube was in development, but it was ultimately cancelled (although, elements from it would later be used in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby Star Allies)).
A sequel to Kirby Air Ride titled Kirby Air Riders was released on November 20, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Ripping Tools
HSDRaw
HSDRaw is a tool that can view and extract data, such as models, textures, and animations, from the .dat files.
DAT Texture Wizard
DAT Texture Wizard (DTW) is a tool that can view and extract textures from the game's .dat files. Certain textures may not export with transparency, so it's recommended to use HSDRaw instead.
Blender Plugin
There is a Blender plugin called Blender HAL DAT Model Addon that can import models stored in the .dat files (some may not work, though, use HSDRaw for files that don't import) directly into Blender (requires Blender version 4.5.7+, as of September 13, 2026).
Foobar2000 + vgmstream Plugin
Foobar2000 with its vgmstream plugin can convert .hps files into different audio formats (such as .wav).
