The Texture Format

The textures need to be in the .png format. JPG is a lossy format that decreases quality, and GIF loses colors, as it only supports 256 colors. Always submit your textures as .png.

Texture Transparencies

If a texture has transparencies, don't remove them. The textures are applied to the model and removing them can make applying them harder.
