Sonic Rumble Party (formerly known as Sonic Rumble until March 16, 2026) is a party battle royale game developed by Sega and Sonic Team and published by the former for iOS, Android, and Windows. It was first released in closed beta and was available from March 24 to March 26, 2024. After being delayed a few times, the game was eventually released on November 5, 2025.

Engine

Sonic Rumble Party uses Unity, however it uses encrypted Asset bundles.

File Formats

  • .bdl - Encrypted Asset bundle, found in SonicRumble_Data/StreamingAssets/Win, and new content can be found in SonicRumble_Data/Win in the Windows version.
  • .awb - Audio Archive, found in the same folders.

Decryption

The .bdl files can be decrypted and viewed with Modder4869's fork of AssetStudio by specifying the game as SRU and the Unity version in the options menu. (The version is 2022.3.64f1 as of March 18, 2026)
