"Due to its ease of use and simplistic nature, there is a very common misconception among artists around the web that Paint is somehow inferior to other graphics editors for spritework. That is simply untrue. Though Paint allows for an easy entry into the worlds of graphics editing and pixel art and therefore is commonly used to create low-quality work by inexperienced users, it is by no means inferior to other programs from a creation standpoint and is fully capable of making pixel art as intricate and complex as even the most powerful of graphics editors." | "Due to its ease of use and simplistic nature, there is a very common misconception among artists around the web that Paint is somehow inferior to other graphics editors for spritework. I won't pretend to be an expert on graphic design, but I at least know that paint doesn't have support for things as essential as alpha and lack tools other editors have that make graphic design a whole lot faster and makes it easier to make better artwork. This is like defending Sketchup over Blender, plus aren't wiki pages supposed to maintain a mostly objective view? This isn't the place for opinions. I suggest this part be removed altogether. --[[User:Poudink|Poudink]] 16:11, 7 February 2020 (EST) | I won't pretend to be an expert on graphic design, but I at least know that paint doesn't have support for things as essential as alpha and lack tools other editors have that make graphic design a whole lot faster and makes it easier to make better artwork. Paint's quality
"Due to its ease of use and simplistic nature, there is a very common misconception among artists around the web that Paint is somehow inferior to other graphics editors for spritework.
