File Formats

  • DIR - Adobe Director Movie.
  • DXR - Adobe Director Protected Movie.
  • DCR - Adobe Director Shockwave Movie.
  • X32 - 32-bit Xtra.
  • X16 - 16-bit Xtra.

Emulators

  • Projector Skeletons for Director - A version of the Adobe Director projecter made to play any Adobe Director game. As it uses the official projector, it is the most accurate.
  • SCUMMVM - It can't be made to play any game (expected from that emulator) and the accuracy is not good as of writing.

Tools

  • DirectorCastRipper - Extracts assets found in side the files.
  • Shockwave-3D-World-Converter - Converts the W3D model files to OBJ. The models may have some of its vertexs out-of-place but that's uncommon.
