Neo Geo Pocket
The Neo Geo Pocket was SNK's first foray into the handheld market in 1998 sold exclusively in Japan and in some parts of Hong Kong. Sales of the console were lackluster possibly due to it only being able to display monochrome graphics at a time when the Game Boy Color was already on the market. The handheld was discontinued a year later, but was immediately succeeded by the Neo Geo Pocket Color, which was released worldwide.
