Pixeltendo

Pixeltendo was the name of the forum associated with tSR, and was owned by Jordan. Eventually, Jordan stopped hosting the forum so the community split and a new tSR forum was created.

The Spriters Resource Community

In 2008, tSR finally created its own forum and no longer used Pixeltendo.

Expansion

tSR expanded its network and added four more sites: tMR, tTR, tSoR, and VGR (which at the time was meant to be a news/review based article site)

The VG Resource

VGR started its life as a videogame news/review site but that didn't pan out. The purpose of the site was changed and "The VG Resource" instead became the name of the network of sites hosting tSR, tMR, tTR, and tSoR. tSRC was renamed and reskinned with a VGR skin, and the VGR domain itself was applied to the new network-wide forum.

Icon Renovation Project 2014

The four resource sites recieved new layouts and icons and work on the wiki began. The forum was archived and reset to go along with this new phase of the site.
